It truly was an Epic experience.  In addition to good food and conversation, this trip was a set a strong foundation for timeless relationships with my fellow Charlotte gents! The discussions covered everything from spring “must-haves” in #menswear to a call for civic duty nationally!  This was a great event that I hope to see spread like wildfire.  Much respect to Mr. Rashon Carroway @ http://www.rashoncarraway.com  for organizing this event- Thanks for inviting me out..  I think I may have won the award for most miles traveled – BUT, know that it was well worth it!

As owner and pioneer of one of Detroit’s most intriguing menswear spots, he is the embodiment of a curator of all things “#FRESH.”  His store, in all it’s wooden glory, exemplifies what men should look like nowadays.  Make sure that you “focus up,” go into the store, and smile when you purchase your new favorite boots, toggled cable knit sweater, or better yet, Knits&Knotts neckwears (coming to the store soon).  He and I were introduced by our mutual friend Mike over at Truckfit and YMCMB.  Since then, our friendship has gone past the business of retail.  BUT- dont get it twisted, we are still handling business.. This is one of my brothers.. We go waaaaaay back!!!!  As he made a life transition, he also made a weight and culinary one as well.. Currently, he’s on a journey to do everything outside of the box -Especially when it comes to food, style, events, etc!!  This is where K&K comes into play.  We’ve collaborated with Judson a countless number of times to create custom neckwear that fits his tastebuds.   As one of the most “out of the box” chefs on Food Network’s “Next Food Network Star” Judd blazed up the kitchen on both ends, cooking  and styling.  As a team, we are collectively evolving what we do together.  With his current affiliation w/ Mr. Steve Harvey, look forward to him donning K&K- ALL DAY!!..   If you thought the bow ties were sick, wait until you see whats next!!!
